This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you use themathstailor.co.uk and methods.themathstailor.co.uk (the “Sites”), and how we use cookies. It is written to comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

“The Maths Tailor” is a trading name of Tailor Academy, a company registered in France (société par actions simplifiée unipersonnelle, SASU), registered office: 200 rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France; French business identifier (SIREN) 991 850 397. Tailor Academy is the data controller for personal data processed through the Sites.

We value your privacy and your rights as a data subject and have therefore appointed Prighter Group, with its local partners, as our privacy representative and your point of contact under Article 27 of the UK GDPR for the following region:

We do not knowingly collect special category (sensitive) data through the Sites.

On your first visit a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, as easily one as the other. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookies” button at the bottom-left of every page. Your choice is stored for six months; analytics/advertising cookies themselves last up to 13 months. These cookies are set by third parties (Google, Meta, Microsoft) under their own privacy policies.

We are based in France and some of our providers are outside the UK (including in the EEA and the United States). Transfers from the UK to the EEA rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations. Transfers to countries without UK adequacy are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, and, for certified US providers, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
