Private tuition · beyond the programmes

Everything else I teach, priced honestly.

A-level Maths, resit preparation, undergraduate mathematics, statistics and econometrics: outside the STEP & TMUA programmes I take on a small number of one-to-one students each term. There's no rate card on this page — and that's deliberate. Here's how it works instead.

How pricing works

Quoted per engagement, not per menu

1

Availability comes first

My calendar is built around the STEP & TMUA programmes, which leaves a handful of private slots each term. Rates reflect that scarcity, and they vary with demand and timing.

2

One call, one precise quote

Fifteen minutes: the goal, the deadline, the current level. You leave with a concrete plan, a fixed quote for it, and a clear yes or no on my availability.

3

Honest triage

If a fixed STEP/TMUA package, a school resource or even a free archive serves you better than my hours, I'll tell you on the call. My time is only worth paying for when it moves the result.

What I take on

One-to-one, at every level that counts

Something else in mathematics? Ask on the call — if it's not for me, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
